| Transcript | (page 106) to get the men in trouble. some of them left the line to avoid freezing. he was on Picket the 14th Jan. and was surnamed the Dromedary. 24th Pleasant day. nothing important. I have been at work on the muster rolls of our Company. 25th Pleasant day. finished the muster rolls. 26th Frogs commenced croaking last night. Rain in the morning, balance of the day pleasant. 27th Warm day, on guard. Col. Bailey returned to day. Officers have a frolic. (page 107) 28th Muster day. warm and pleasant. Officers had a spree last night. Lts. Nolen and C. Smith had a fight. Baily and Stricker very drunk. Evans and Jones the only ones not in the mix. March 1st Rainy day. Caps. Wenie, Chrisman and McCullough returned last night in time for Bailys free blow. 2nd Pleasant day. Bosler and Busno of A. Co. placed under arrest |
